Chantal Chehade is the creator of Yumla'. She started this venture with a small home business and atelier in 2015.

Our Story
At the age of 18, Chantal came up with the idea of beading after buying a jean jackets that she later found to be unfashionable. Feeling determined to make use of it anyway; she decided to bead the shape of the wings of a butterfly on the back of the jacket, giving it a completely different and stylish look.
And this was only the beginning. She fell in love with this beautiful hand craft and found a great joy in the art of transforming undesirable pieces into stylish and unique ones.

Chantal's most challenging work was beading the portrait of a lady on a very soft fabric and within a small space. The result was outstanding and rewarding. From there on, the hobby was no longer just a hobby.
Over the past 15 years, she has been beading apparels for her own use and getting surprising love and admiration from so many people. But it wasn't until 2014 that she decided to transform this hobby into an actual venture, encouraged by her fiancé at the time.

She knew, however, that in order to launch a professional beading business, she needs to develop her skills so that she can deliver apparels of quality and superior designs.
And so she spent a year working on an opening collection and developing her beading techniques to create unique artful pieces.
